Action Plan - Here goes nothing....

This week we were asked to plan the specifics for our research project.  See below for my plan:

Action Planning Template
Goal:  Is Think Through Math an effective mathematics intervention that can improve student math performance and close gaps in math achievement?
Action Steps(s):
Person(s) Responsible:
Timeline: Start/End
Needed Resources
Evaluation
Investigate the actions necessary to implement TTM and gain a practical knowledge of how it is intended to be used (i.e. enrolling students, setting up classes, etc.)

  1. We just started using TTM for my 4th grade math students. I look forward to hearing about your research! Good luck!

  2. This looks great, way better than mine. I'm not sure I really understand what I'm doing yet, but looking at other peoples work helps out, thanks for a great exapmle.

  3. I am also using the Renaissance Product to simultaneously establish baselines and track progress while implementing the Success Initiative's program. I'm very excited that someone else's research is so in line with my own. And since I kind oversee all of RtI, I'm also interested directly in your experience with this math product. Is there an assessment built in to TTM? (There is for Istation, and it's GORGEOUS.) Have you administered it, yet? What kind of data does the program produce? Do the kids like the platform? Mine are BORED SILLY with the STAR test. They're doing better with the Istation test and even don't mind the intervention platform too much. Are you afraid that the state will discontinue funding? I have so many questions for someone whose work is so in line with my own. Probably none of this helped, but I'll continue to follow your work and look forward to seeing where it leads. (And, presumably, at some point, I'll be able to offer something useful.) Good luck!
